Dark roast for peets and Starbucks is basically burnt roast... Would be worth it waiting for the lavazza gran crema to go on sale at Costco again

Coffee prices just keep going up. The Peet's coffee at Costco no longer have the roast dates and just show the best by date about a year out.

i prefer medium roast but got this yesterday after looking at this post just to try Dark roast. Is it too roasted for the taste coming from medium roast?
