Yes, thank you for that feedback. I agree that open box returns are a bit ymmv on what you actually receive. The follow up posts on the previous thread were primarily positive, with 100% battery health, remaining warranty time, and excellent/new condition. The good thing here is 30 day return window and ability to return to walmart store.

I'm amazed that this specific model is still "relevant" but my wife proves me on a daily basis that for a regular 'ol user like her...this is still great. For $350 I'd buy this for my kid if they were responsible for one (they're not yet)

I believe these are Walmart returns from the re-release of the M1 MacBook Airs last year. First one came in good condition, this is $40 cheaper making it a great couch machine. Grabbing another and asking if they will refund the difference on the first one.

Unless you have a bespoke Intel-only piece of software that you 100% cannot migrate over to M-series, you couldn't pay me to use an Intel mac now.
