how do you know that when buying used airpods, the airpods is already disassociated from Apple ID? because if it's still associated with one apple id, you can not use it?

Can't you just factory reset the airpods so a new Apple id can be tied to them?

i think if you just factory reset the airpod, then everyone can 'steal' airpods and factory reset them... but i m not sure...

You cannot reset the "find my" tracking… that is locked to original owners account

If your okay with using a fork or spoon from a restaurant you should be fine with a used airpods you thoroughly clean yourself. At a restaurant, you don't even know if the employees clean the utensils well and it goes inside your mouth.
