This walking pad is best for light desk walking and easy storage, especially under a standing or adjustable desk. The compact, narrow deck and remote control make it simple to tuck away and use for email, calls, or casual browsing, and the 250 pound rating is noted in the comments. The main tradeoff is stability and typing comfort, since higher speeds make precise mouse and keyboard work harder and the lack of rails can feel awkward. It is a practical fit if you want low speed movement during work rather than a full treadmill experience.

Common Questions (5)

  • Yes, it can work under a standing or adjustable desk if the desk height is proper. It is best for light computer tasks like email, routine clicking, and typing at slower speeds; precise mouse work and fast typing become harder as speed increases.

  • No incline is mentioned for this model, and it does not have rails. That makes it more of a flat walking pad for desk use than a full treadmill, and some users prefer adding support or choosing a model with rails.

  • Around 1.5 to 2 mph is the most workable range for desk use, with some users pushing to about 2.5 to 3 mph before it gets tricky. Above about 2 mph, bobbing and balance make fine mouse movements and typing less practical.

  • Yes, it is stated to support 250 lb. One commenter also reported using a similar unit above its listed weight without issue, but the practical fit still depends on your size and balance on the narrow belt.

  • It is described as loud, but also small and light enough to tuck away after use. The compact size makes it easy to store under furniture, which is part of the appeal for home office setups.

Why not just take a walk outside, save 80 dollars
My wife works from home and walks for around 4 hours a day while she works. It is great.

not everyone has a year round convenient situation for walking. But under desk treadmills are usually fidgety people who cant stay sit in place for too long while working.

-In my area in rains almost daily for almost the entire winter....and tends to be sub 40F (but above freezing). So pretty miserable for a large chunk of the year.
-supplement outdoor walking
-seasonal allergies, sun exposure, etc may need to limit your time in uncontrolled environments
-not everyone is independent enough for long periods alone outside
-high crime areas or areas that are unfavorable to long walks

TLDR: Not every use case is the same as yours. Did you really come here to shame?

P.S. And no offense however your comment history isn't exactly screaming you spend a large portion of your time outdoors. 99% video games, puzzles, movies...

I'm actually interested in doing this for when I WFH. Any one have any experience using this to walk, work and type at the same time? Is it a practical thing to do?
I've lost about 50 lbs this way. 40-50k steps daily. (+ Diet of course)

Nice deal, but I really need the rails.
Many people use a walker (easy to find thrifting) to add low cost rails to these.

What makes walking on these treadmills good is the incline...you can burn up to double the calories with a high enough incline. You rarely see these walking treadmills have incline though.
