Curious how this compares to the Helios Neo 16S. I returned that one because the Intel HX CPU is such an enormous pig that it's basically impossible to game on USB-C power. This being a much more sensible Ryzen 7 350 (you reeeeeeally don't need much more CPU power for gaming on a laptop) piques my interest.

Have had this for 3-4 months now. Great device. Termps are good - CPU maxes out at low 80s, GPU tends to stay mid 70s. Much more premium chassis and keyboard feel than my old Lenovo legion 5 1660 ti laptop I replaced

Who buys a gaming laptop with a 5070ti to game using the cpu and on usb c power? Seems like you bought an overpowered laptop for your gaming needs. I love my Acer 16s. Absolutely power house of a laptop and beautiful oled screen.

I was more interested in having the extra VRAM for Pro/AI workloads. Gaming wasn't really on my radar. According to nVidia, the 5070Ti mobile should operate as low as 50W. So I would have been golden, if not for the insanely power hungry intel HX CPU...
