USB-A how handy
That's not a problem, everyone has a handful of those cables and chargers just laying around. The issue is that the flashlight has a male end sticking out of it when it should just have a female end. So unless your going to be able to charge it like the picture below, you'll need to keep around a usb cable with female on one end and male on the other. Pictures from reviews:

Interesting. My first reaction was that's a horrible design, but there is an advantage in that it negates the need for a USB cable (if charging it as shown in the photo you attached).

The good news is the box says it comes with a 12" male-to-female USB extension cable.

Not so sure about this. Illustration says USB-A "male to male" cable included. The package says screw off USB-A charging "output". But instructions say unscrew and plug into USB-A "input". And a customer pic shows a USB-A "male to female" cable. It sounds like a mess.

There's an Amazon customer photo of the box showing a 12" male-to-female USB cable is included.

Eh, says $9.93 is the typical price, so not exactly a huge deal...

I will lose the special cable and then be SOL. So, this is a no for me. Also.... Unless someone has tested the output, like every other Chinese product, the lumens are probably an outright deception (or call it overly optimistic marketing... Whatever).

How long do batteries last before recharged?
