First time I've seen this brand. How does it compare to Yamaha or Casio?

I highly doubt it. Even for a beginner you'll want the standard 88 keys, weighted keys, and keys that don't have hollow space below. And a proper sustain pedal (not the mouse clicky style). Also would recommend a proper stand (not the X-style) and depending on the person a height adjustable chair. That's the bare minimum in my opinion.

Got a rockjam with bench and stand which started having issues after only a week. Have higher hopes for this seeing some video reviews and how responsive their CS seems to be on Amazon. Just need to find stand and bench separate now.

Not a musician but dabble a bit... I bought this for my teenage son on the VIPOUTLET ebay store for around $80 a few weeks ago. I believe they were selling this at Sam's club also. We also have an old 88-key yamaha (full bench/legs,etc) and we also own an Alesis drum kit form Costco that has performed well for about 10 years. The yamaha feels a bit nicer to play, and sounds a bit better, but I think the alesis is fairly close (aside from the 61 keys vs 88 keys).

At this pricepoint, I think it's a good electronic keyboard. The keys are velocity based, but not weighted (similar to our yamaha). The sound is good, and it feels sturdily built (pretty heavy and wide, so not that portable). It's a bit overkill with the features for a beginner just wanting to learn piano, but it could serve that purpose. If you have someone that may want to dabble the other eleectronic keyboard type features now or in the future, I think it's a good buy.

If you're looking for something portable and light and/or just for practicing piano, you may be able to find something less expensive.

Any suggestions for cheap options or please suggest a good one ?

I like how they marked this deal as expired (which is technically true) but it's on sale for $75 now so it's even cheaper lol

It's actually even cheaper ($56.70) through their ebay store now. I bought and posted this yesterday but may need to rebuy from ebay now lol.
