This 48 by 72 inch 15 pound weighted blanket is best for people who like a heavy, cocooning feel, and the small bead squares are a nice touch. The weight can improve sleep, and the size is handy for travel or for layering on top of other blankets. The cooling claim sounds more like less insulating than truly cool, so it may still feel warm in summer. Washing the blanket itself is difficult, and the fabric has been reported to pill after about a month.
The blanket can feel more comfortable for people who like thick bedding or tend to pile on blankets during warmer periods.
The weighted design can make sleep feel noticeably different enough to bring it on trips.
The blanket may feel less restrictive after initial acclimation when it is used partially on the body at first.
A washable cover can help manage cleaning needs when washing the weighted blanket itself is difficult.
The fabric can start pilling about a month after purchase despite liking the small bead squares.
The cooling effect may be mostly relative because glass beads act as an insulator rather than actively cooling.
Larger pocket sizing can reduce how evenly the weight distributes and can make the blanket feel slightly less hardy.
The blanket can trap body heat for some people, making it hard to use in summer.
