Pretty good sound while letting me hear my environment. Definitely surprised me on the clarity - had to pull them off and put them back on to make sure these things weren't just pumping out loud music. I couldn't hear them if I put them on the desk 2 ft away in the office ambient noise. I do wish there was a way to see the charge on the case (only way is to look at whether it warns you of low power when you put the earbuds back into it).
