Yep. Best comeback story in gaming history. The corvette update last year (new completely customizable ship type) basically made it a whole new game.

10th anniversary is August 9th, 2026. Everyone's expecting a huge update. Buy it now while it's this cheap, before the 10th anniversary update makes it more awesome.

Hey all -- I actually own this on Xbox but I tend to PC game more than I do Xbox so I don't subscribe to any Microsoft gaming services. I didn't realize NMS is able to be used with Xbox Anywhere. Is that version just as good as PC and worth saving the $18?

I did try it out but I don't have the Steam version so I really cannot compore the two platforms thus my question. My 2+ year old saved game came across so that was cool. Only other issue was the game was defaulted to 1080P and had to go into settings to bump that to 4K and while there was some stuttering on the starfield/launch screen gameplay seems fine. The only downside I'm reading is that Xbox doesn't get updates as quickly but that's not worth spending another $20 as best I can tell.

The game now supports cross saves across all platforms, so you can buy the Steam version and still pull your Xbox save over.

Tons of content in this game but I found it to be quite ho hum. It's a time sink where you have to make your own story and goals up. Too open ended and generic for my tastes. If you like giant sandbox games with very little narrative, go ahead and dive in. It's like a 6-7 all the way through hundreds of hours of gameplay.
