I know the future is SO up in the air but if I were planning a new build late summer, should I wait on buying anything at the moment?
Was thinking of trying team red after being on the other side for 7 years and this looks nice
Impossible to know. If I were you, I'd just keep an eye on deals as they come along and do it that way. You can find bundle deals on Newegg that are a decent deal on RAM, CPU, and mobo as an example. Then wait for a good deal on a GPU

No new GPUs are being released this year so it makes sense to get this now

I think that's a pretty good deal. I wouldn't wait that much if I was planning on the future for some upgrades. I got last year the XFX one for around 570, today same card is about 700. Not much difference but how things are looking it can get worse before getting better. Cheers!

I suggest you figure out which GPU or a couple GPUs that you want. If you see one on sale, grab it. The longer you wait, the less likely you will find one at a good price.

seems like a terrific deal n ot sure why it'w not getting more heat.
faster than 5070 in raster lower in RT of course but who cares. 16gb is a huge deal. i'd much rather be able to use HD textures rather than a bit more rt.
