I got the black one a few weeks ago for $40 for my son's 7500x3d build and am very happy with it. I have half a mind to replace my smaller corsair with this too.

Running this thing right now but in black. The fans are extremely loud and the pump makes horrible grinding noise. Other users have reported the same issue all over the internet and Reddit. Already tried tilting the case. Might try to lower my pump speed and see what it does before i go through RMA.

For these cheaper AIOs, you really need to set a custom fan curve in the bios to quiet down the fans. I'm running this model and currently have my fans set to max out at 50%, much lower the rest of the time. Because of this, it's nearly dead silent with my CPU heavily overclocked. My pump doesn't grind, so you might just have a bad one, but also check how you have the radiator mounted. A lot of people mount front radiators incorrectly, with the tubes at the top. Front radiator needs tubes on the bottom to prevent pump damage and noise from air pockets. Top radiator mounting isn't picky.

Radiator is top mounted. A couple test run so far but dropping the pump down to 80% helped. I didn't go down to 50% fan but I did try 80%-90% and it was still unbearable. I end up just getting 3 new 120mm fans and replace it.

Have this top mounted on a 7800x3d build. Been fairly lucky I guess. It's quiet and I've never seen my cpu temps go outside of 45c - 70c.

I suppose that works, but simply lowering the fan speed more would have achieved the same result without additional expense and wiring. The fans that come with it are fine, they just need to be tuned during installation. My heavily overclocked i7-8700K pulls 200W under the occt stress test. with my fans set to max out at 50% (1,050rpm), the system is barely audible and it keeps that 200W CPU load under 70C. I set the lower end of the curve to around 30% and it's nearly inaudible. Regardless of what fans you use, they should be tuned to you system. I'm just sharing my experience and advice as a 25 year professional system builder who does this every week.

Cools my i7-11700k just fine. Very minimal noise and keeps the temps under control... Front mounted in a H5 Flow case.

No clip coupon for me. Says frequently returned item. Anyone know why?
