Logitech's G920 bundle is an entry level wheel, pedals, and shifter set that stands out as a budget-friendly way to get into sim racing. The force feedback setup gets praised for value, and the bundle can deliver a strong experience in games like Gran Turismo with a VR headset. It is also frequently discounted, with past Logitech promos bringing the price down much lower. The main drawbacks are the loud plastic gear drive and the fact that this is the Xbox version, while PS5 needs the G923. It is a solid starter setup if you want the full wheel, pedal, and shifter package.
If you're just getting into driving sims and want an entry-level wheel/pedal/shifter set at this price point, it's a good pick because commenters call it the best "bang-for-your-buck" entry-level set and say it gets very high marks at this price.
If you're on Xbox Series X|S/ Xbox One and want a complete starter setup (wheel + pedals + shifter) for Forza-style sim racing, it's best for you because the bundle is specifically the Xbox version and commenters note you'd need a different model for PS5.
If you're pairing a wheel with PS VR2 for Gran Turismo 6 and you're okay with entry-level hardware, it's best for you because one commenter says this kind of Logitech entry-level wheel/pedals pairing is an "outstanding experience" and recommends waiting for frequent sales.
If you want to buy the set mainly for the pedals and plan to upgrade later to a direct-drive wheel, it's best for you because one commenter suggests buying it on a super sale for the pedals and then pairing them with a more expensive direct-drive wheel later using Logitech's adapter kit.
If you're sensitive to noise and don't want a wheel that "makes a significant noise" from plastic gears, it's not ideal because a commenter says the sound made them question whether it would break and they couldn't get over it.
If you're on PS5 and you want the correct wheel model without extra hassle, it's not ideal because commenters point out this is the Xbox version and that PS5 users need the G923 instead.
If you're looking for a more accurate, higher-quality drive system and don't want gear-driven "inaccurate" performance, it's not ideal because one commenter says you "at minimum want a belt driven system" and criticizes this as "inaccurate gear crap."
If you're comparing upgrades and want the better direct-drive option, it's not ideal because commenters recommend getting the Moza R3 direct drive instead as a better upgrade (even at a slightly higher price).
It is widely treated as a strong budget entry-level wheel/pedal/shifter set and a good value if you are just getting into sim racing. It is also a gear-driven setup, so there are better higher-end options if you want more realism.
Yes, it goes on sale fairly frequently, and one prior Logitech order was stacked with discounts and a racing adapter to reach about $208 shipped. The current offer appears to be weaker than that older deal.
Yes, the Moza R3 direct drive bundle at $279 is suggested as a better upgrade, and the Thrustmaster T300RS GT is recommended for PS5 if you want a belt-driven system. Logitech's RS50 and G Pro are also mentioned as higher-end alternatives.
No, this is the Xbox version. For PS5, the G923 is the Logitech option mentioned here, and the PS5 model is also noted as having rev lights and additional inputs.
Yes, it can make significant noise because of the plastic gear mechanism. The wheel may sound rough enough to make you question durability, even though it is reportedly fine in normal use.
I believe this was cheaper from them not that long ago, but not a terrible price for everything.
There are two things to realize:
1) This is the xbox version. If you want PS5 you need the G923.
I just got the G29 (PS5 version) with shifter straight from Logitech for $160-something. It was $200 for the wheel with the shifter free and people found that if you added a cheap item like a USB cable, the discount got even bigger.

Which make and model do you recommend for a PS5 owner?
You at minimum want a belt driven system, not this inaccurate gear crap that people on SD constantly praise. It's incredibly cheap for a reason. So option for PS5, would be a Thrustmaster T300RS GT. Just wait for it go on sale.
