I'm still running an old Honeywell refurb from about 5 years ago. Be sure to check prices/life span on filters before buying anything

Have the big brother of this model (new from amazon), as well as one of the previous model of this size, and several smaller ones. They largely do what they claim and replacement clone filters are available from amazon for a decent price with no measured loss of effectiveness in my room. My only complaint is the amazon version of this doesn't actually change fan speeds in auto mode so I'm picking up one of these to see if it does (and to replace the previous generation that I'm using because I like the ability to add a third chunked carbon filter with the S filter, again clones are available on amazon, I like Smilyan as they do a 3 pack for the price of one S filter from honeywell. TU.

Bought two last week for ten bucks more than this. One was a floor demo with stickers. Works fine. The other has a loud motor, probably resulting in it's return. Buydig offered $35 partial refund to keep the loud unit. I put it in a room where I don't care. Pricing on these units is great.

Just received mine. Despite the outside being a bit dusty, the unit still had stickers on it and brand new filters that were wrapped.
