Every Dungeons and Dragons movie to date has been extremely disappointing... Except this one. Highly recommended if you are looking to scratch this particular itch.

Pretty good movie, recommend seeing if you haven't. Has the right amount of humor while still having plenty of D&D stuff. While I haven't played P&P RPGs in decades, I have been told by my friends who do play that there's several bits that are basically straight out of a gameplay session.

As an old person, I really enjoyed the super quick nod to the D&D cartoon.

Such a better movie than I thought it would be.
One of the movies I watch when I know I want a good time.. the humor is on point and the action is great too. Cast has great chemistry.
I am still holding out hope they can find a way to make a sequel!

Wrath of the Dragon God wasn't a "great" movie, but it was 100% a D&D Party being built, ending up going on shenanigan filled adventures, and having to get out of a boatload of various problems along the way. It was absolutely D&D.
