I have this, bought from woot for $10 without the dongle. Got the dongle afterwards. This pair is extremely light, but it also makes your ear extremely hot. Sound and mic quality both so so. Sometimes it makes a weird noise and for 10 seconds it is completely disconnected to your pc. I panicked the first couple times but then I just learned to live with it. The battery life is also not that great so I do have a habit of plugging it in every other day. I don't think it is worth $40 though.
I always thought the people that said to buy a regular pair of headphones and a standalone mic were obnoxious, but I priced it out and you can actually get the two for about the same price as a headset, both with better quality. They make smaller types of standalone mics too so it doesn't have to be too intrusive.

these are straight up the worst sounding headphones i have ever tried. but i use them everyday with my pc. i bought replacement thick earpads from aliexpress so my ears dont get irritated every time i use them and the sound improved a little. used eq app to improve a little more. but thats it.
this is the earpads i bought. they fit perfectly to the headphones. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/32...29867.html
the battery is pretty awful, needs to charge every day or 2.
also no dock so charging must be done via cable.
no latency on the dongle at all.
I use this set, maybe max of 3 hours a day for mostly single-player gaming, so I don't have anything to say about the mic. It's not gonna win any awards, but at this price point I think it sounds quite good. Sound quality is decent and has a decent soundstage/positional audio (recently played RDR2). I've always wondered how much better more expensive sets would sound, but honestly it's really hard to beat the value. FYI I've never had any connection issues whatsoever.
The only con I have is that it's not really designed for big heads. I have a relatively larger head and it JUST fits me fully extended. In terms of charging, I use a magnetic tip adapter to make the charging a bit more convenient ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DJW8XRBW ). I know reddit is very against using magnetic adapters, but I personally haven't had any issues, though I only use them on peripherals and nothing too expensive.
These are my favorite headphones for just using my pc, and I have about 10 other pairs to choose from. They are light enough to have on for 12 hours at a time. I don't listen to music with them, but the sound is fine for videos. The mic quality is terrible, but that may be because I only use them with bluetooth

Thanks for the review. I don't like headsets that make my ears hot, so I will pass on this one.
These are for people with small head. This is small snd tight AF, not comfortable. The whole thing feels cheap with lots of plastic and zero padding. Not comfortable
