This under desk walking pad is best for slow workday walking in tight spaces, with minimal assembly and easy moving or storage under a standing desk. The low profile and optional safety cord fit desk use, and the motor is described as fairly quiet. The main tradeoffs are the 3.1 mph top speed, which is not a power walk pace, and the lack of handrails or incline on this version. Fit and durability concerns also come up, along with reports that the tracking can be off.

  • People working at a standing desk who want slow-paced movement while typing, because it fits under the desk and supports low-intensity walking during work.

  • Apartment workers who need a quiet walking pad, because the motor itself is fairly quiet and the noise mainly comes from footfalls and shoes.

  • Shoppers with a small bedroom or tight storage area who want a compact treadmill, because it is easy to move and can be stored under a standing desk.

  • People doing light rehab or casual walking sessions, because it is described as useful for physical therapy and slow-paced use rather than hard training.

  • Runners or anyone chasing a power-walk workout, because the 3.1 mph top speed is too slow for higher-intensity exercise.

  • Tall or heavier walkers who need more room, because the narrow deck can feel sketchy and cause hip discomfort on a tiny treadmill.

  • People who want a handle for standing-desk use, because the handle gets in the way and is considered the worst part of that setup.

  • Users who want incline training, because this model lacks incline and may require a DIY workaround to add it.

I would never buy one of these because a 20-minute mile pace is the upper speed limit, and I'd be concerned about overworking the motor and burning it out at that slow pace.

Where would you put your chair when using these? I Guess you need a desk deep enough to tuck this under and then roll it out each time you want to use it?

Agreed. This might be useful for someone doing physical therapy, but it's not meant for higher intensity exercise.

Are we really thinking an under desk walking pad would provide any high intensity workout? These comments are wild.

Biggest thing to me is space for this. I have a standing desk and seems like a nice addition but then storing it somewhere when not using would be tough. Maybe stand up on wall? Do people just full send an remove chair and just have this and stand all day?

I work from home, I have a different model, but the reason why I have one is just to walk at a slow pace while getting work done. I keep mine stored under my standing. I have it on its side leaning on my desk's leg. It sticks out a past my desk, but I placed on the side I don't walk by often.

If you have balance issues you could try using a medical/senior walker if its wide enough.

Personally I'd rather pay more for one with the handle and an incline-decline option. Just my opinion …
For use in standing desk, handle is the WORST - would pay to NOT have a handle

I've got an adjustable standing desk. I don't have this model, but a different one, move it behind me when not in use. When not using walking pad, two different wobble boards (depending on how much want to work my balance) - hardly ever sit at my desk anymore, but do have a chair I can wheel in when I want to sit

My comment wasn't about workout intensity, it was about literally burning out the motor because of how underpowered it is.

I bought this one with rails a couple months ago. https://a.co/d/0hkokXrA
Definitely cheaper materials and the speed, calories tracking seems way off compare when I used my Apple Watch. But needed a minimal assembly, easy to move and for smaller space in my bedroom and it fits those qualities. I only do walking and slow paced jogging. Also i dont have proper 3 prong walll sockets so it's plugged into a 4000 joules surge protector. I make sure only the treadmill and a google mesh WiFi pod is only plugged in at same time. Just to be safe when I use the treadmill for 30-40 mins. So unfortunately I can't watch tv or stream music from echo show plugged in same surge protector since I'd rather not risk it. But for basic treadmill for less than $150 if it lasts a year I'll take it. I plan to travel in May and might stay for longer period and rather than paying $5 a day for gym guest pass at planet fitness. I might just rebuy the same treadmill and just use it there
