This clear shower curtain liner stands out for being thicker and heavier than the cheap store versions, with three magnets and a clear finish that starts out looking clean. The added weight helps it hang better and resist flutter, and the 72 by 72 size gives more coverage than the 70 inch wide Dollar Tree liner. It also gets used as a waterproof inner layer in a two curtain setup, with replacements every few months as mold clouds the old liner. The main tradeoff is price versus the ultra cheap alternatives, though the extra cost is framed as modest.
Common Questions (4)
It is reported at about 3.5 mil thick and 271 g, noticeably heavier than a Dollar Store version at 130 g. That extra weight helps it hang better and resist flutter from shower spray.
It has three magnets and can hold well enough to stay put against a tub, especially compared with thinner dollar-store liners. On fiberglass tubs, a thinner liner may need the shower rod moved outward about 4 inches for the magnets to keep it from fluttering.
Yes, this liner is 72 inches wide, while the Dollar Tree alternative mentioned is only 70 inches wide. That extra width can matter if you want fuller coverage or less gap at the sides.
Yes, it can be used as a picnic tablecloth. The lightweight clear liner is being repurposed for that use, which makes it a cheap waterproof cover for outdoor tables.
