This clear shower curtain liner stands out for being thicker and heavier than the cheap store versions, with three magnets and a clear finish that starts out looking clean. The added weight helps it hang better and resist flutter, and the 72 by 72 size gives more coverage than the 70 inch wide Dollar Tree liner. It also gets used as a waterproof inner layer in a two curtain setup, with replacements every few months as mold clouds the old liner. The main tradeoff is price versus the ultra cheap alternatives, though the extra cost is framed as modest.
The liner starts out really clear and stays usable for visibility in the shower area.
The liner is about 3.5 mil thick and weighs 271g, which helps it resist movement.
The liner can be used as a waterproof inner layer with a separate cloth layer for privacy and aesthetics.
The liner can be replaced every 3-6 months to keep the inner waterproof layer effective.
The thinner Dollar Tree version can fail to hold against a fiberglass tub, causing curtain flutter from shower spray.
The liner may require a thicker 8G-style option for best performance, since thinner curtains can feel like they are attacking.
The liner can be heavier than some alternatives, and it may still move if wind or airflow is strong enough.
