Whats the speciality of this "Apple" cable? Isnt it a plain USB-C cable? Is it specifically to be used on Apple products or any special feature only works that normal USB-C cable doesnt support? OR is it just a marketting gimmick to label it as "Apple" for sales? :-)

Well, it's a common practice for a manufacturer to tell you who makes the item. That's exactly what's happened here... think "Toyota Camry" or "Samsung Galaxy". Hope this clears things up.

It has a rather unique texture and is designed by apple so you would think it's higher quality than a no name brand. Still overpriced for a cable imo but to each there own.

The one that came with my iPhone is pretty fantastic— soft, very bendable and pleasant hand feel, but doesn't kink or tangle. Not sure I'd trust Amazon/Woot to avoid counterfeits though. I got knockoff AirPod pros shipped and sold by Amazon a few years ago, so I pretty much assume that anything they sell that would be easy to counterfeit might be.

Brand new— I actually got one pair, noticed some irregularities, and returned it for a replacement with the exact same serial number (which did show up on AppleCare, but with less than 6 months of warranty left— I noticed the S/N because I took a bunch of pictures to make sure I got money back for the return). PITA to get my money back since I had already returned one pair for replacement.
