$20 feels like a stretch!
If you're dying to try it, use an emulator on android or PC until the cost comes down.

I can't stand games being behind a subscription paywall. While I won't be buying this because $20 is pretty steep imo I like that you can buy them individually.

This is better than being on nso. I don't like subscriptions, paying the Nintendo switch membership is already too much

For everyone asking why this dropped today instead of on Pokémon Day next week, it's probably to make people FOMO buy it. They'll probably announce it is also included in NSO+Expansion Pass next week right after the livestream ends, and then a bunch of people will be whining on Reddit that they wouldn't have paid $40 for both if they'd known they'd be in NSO.

This is a punch to the gut to NSO subscribers. There's a GBA app, why isn't this part of it? Plus Gameboy advance games used to cost 7.99 on the Wii U system. How are they justifying a $20 price for this? You can always count on Nintendo to screw it's fans over and over

They can easily provide both ways to enjoy this game. You can buy it or simply enjoy it with NSO. I believe a lot of people who have NSO will buy them as well. But, they are too ignorant to do so.
