Homie this is far from a trash game. It's far from perfect, but I really enjoyed the story. Gameplay was fine if a little repetitive.

What story? The dialogue consisted of a mixture of fbombs and "Joshua". The dumbed down gameplay is just spamming attack

Decent game to pick up at this price point for casual fans of the Final Fantasy series. The posters trashing the game probably paid $50+ for the game closer to launch. It's a cautionary tale that you may not want to blindly purchase Final Fantasy games at/near launch. I enjoyed playing it for the sale price I bought it at, but not sure if it has any replay value to me like past Final Fantasy titles.

FYI: Check the libraries in your city or town. Mine has like 15 copies to borrow.

Man the combat doesn't look as good or as fun/technical as the ones from the FF7 remake series.... on a side note, you know which game they need to remake with today's graphics engine? Parasite Eve... that game was nuts and ahead of its time
