This 3M headlight restoration kit is a strong low cost way to clear oxidized lenses and has a solid track record for restoring cloudy headlights. The kit is described as working well, easier than hand polishing, and effective enough to try on older vehicles or repeat on multiple cars. The main catch is durability, since the restored lens needs a separate coating, sealant, or UV protector to keep haze from returning. A few also point to the lack of a finishing wipe in this version, so it works best if you already have protection on hand.

I think unless the product explicitly says it prevents re-fogging of the headlights after use, you still need to add an additional UV protectorant or sealer, which this product doesn't appear to come with.
You need to spray them with a 2k clear afterward or its all moot
Gonna give my 2014 Toyota Prius some low budget luv.
Thanks OP.
And wear dust mask at the least. You just sanding down polycarbonate with very high grit sand paper and compound, which probably isn't great to inhale.
