Bought some from a local Bealls and they were all ruined. Air had gotten to them and turned them from crunchy candy into chewy jelly. Ironically, exactly what the packing purports the candy isn't. If you do get the chance to buy real, fresh, properly packaged freeze-dried candy, it is delicious!

Also, Sow Good recently completed a $6 million private placement and strategic asset sale in January 2026 to address severe financial, liquidity, and going-concern doubts. The company is transitioning to an asset-light model, changing leadership, and continuing operations to avoid liquidation. That might explain all the quality issues. It's fire sale candy.
