Based on experience with tablets from metro, this might not come ulocked. However unlike metro phones, these might work with T-Mobile esims as well. Not sure though.
Do I need to keep paying the $10 monthly, if I don't neede it?
This is prepaid ... you don't need to pay anything after the first month/initial payment. The watch, just like the phone should also get unlocked after 365 days post activation

I'm stuck at due to security I need to call in to complete my purchase. Agent went through AMEX = Declined. Chase visa $42.46= Declined, he did another push through for my chase visa at $226!! of course it got declined. I told him I didn't approved for $226, he said no worry it go declined anyway. I gave up. Samething happen when I purchase iphone 13 a few days ago, I had to go to the store to get it. Must be a flag or block on my account.

That's unfortunate ... no such issue for me. Ordered a iPhone 13 (port-in), Galaxy Tab A9+ and this Galaxy Watch 7 all within a span of 15 days while still in first month of my service with the phone. All with the same credit card. All went through smoothly for me. I guess .. YMMV

I used this watch for about a year. Loved it so much I upgraded to the Ultra (2024) for double the battery life. If you're a runner, or care about fitness, I think it's one of the best bang for your buck purchases in tech to get one of these under $100.
The battery life on Garmins are great, but Spotify is a significantly better experience on Galaxy watch.
As for Apple, I really tried with the Ultra, but that app drawer without folders is an eye sore.
