The LG C5 is practically a direct comparison to the Samsung S90 series. Both are just a notch below the premier class of each respective brand. LG G5 & S95. The differences are kind of nitpick that really only make a difference to the video enthusiasts. I think the biggest difference between the C5 and the S90 is LG is WOLED and S90 is QDOLED which the average person won't even notice a difference.

any thoughts on 83 inch with the woled vs the 77 inch with qdoled? Currently have a 83 inch Neo qled from Samsung and the lamp is going bad only 2 years in.

Your neo qled will be an 85". Just noting that so that you know it's an even bigger downsize to go down to a 77".

Although I actually didn't realize that 77" is only 16% smaller than the 83" (see above link).

My personal opinion is that it's a wash between a slightly better panel and a slightly bigger one. And for that reason, I would probably make my final decision about cost.
