Horrible design with the wire coming out of the side. I just ordered the Trond version for cheaper but only has 20w charging but is better looking with good reviews.

This is good for a sit/stand desk. I would attach it upside down from the picture though

Depends on how close your desk is pushed to a wall. Or if you have dividers or a cubicle. Pros and cons both ways.

I wish they had just added more AC outlets. 8 USBs that can only draw 40 watts total, among 8 ports, is beyond useless.

They are useful for usb powered devices that are permanently connected. That would save space not having to use one of those cheap 2amp single port usb cubes in an ac sockets.
