These are fine at $11 but that's about it. They do not stand up to the abuse a kid (or kids in vicinity) will put them through. As an adult I would not want it for my own lunch box.

That's not been my experience, we have a couple of Bentgo Kids boxes (which I assume are the same build quality, just different size) being used daily for over a year. The exterior silicone has a couple of gashes and I can tell the interior silicone seals won't last forever (even with hand washing) but overall I'm impressed with the quality.

I'm not calling you wrong, just wanted to share another experience. I will pick one up at this price. I think I paid $30 for a pair of the kids boxes at Sam's.

I have several of these for my younger kids. This one is nice for the larger compartments (instead of the one with the round dip compartment). They really are leakproof, however, my youngest doesn't actually close it back up when putting back in her lunch bag after lunch so any remaining food tends to spill (it's a little tough for younger kids to snap back closed).

Just a note, the outer clamshell doesn't hold up well in the dishwasher. It recommends hand washing, but we sanitize everything using the dishwasher and the rubber and inner seals begin to deteriorate slightly after a year or so.

Also the inner seals stain easily from things like ketchup (more of an issue with the dip contain style we mostly use).

I like the leak-roof aspect. It also looks easy enough to clean (which can be annoying for some compartment boxes).
