I think they may be $10 usually? Idk for sure and dont know a good price tracker for Walmart... Either way still a better call to go to Menards if you have one nearby and you could do with 60 quarts instead of 66. They have the purple handle Sterilite on sale for the under $6.

Yea, it pretty much is a local only deal. Maybe some day they will make it out that way. So nice to have a solid option outside the other 2 hardware stores.

Dang. Just bought 6 of the Target brand version of this (same size) for $9 each about two hours ago. Was looking for the Sterilites but didn't have any.

Ordered a six-pack and am returning the Targets (tho, if I didn't go to Target so much already I'd probably not bother).

Last two times these arrived damaged. Had to pick them off the shelf among several there that were also damaged (cracked).

"Gaskets" would help prevent dust and moisture from entering. And it should greatly reduce the amount of air that cycles through the container. All of those things tend to help keep things from breaking down or changing over time. A gasket that performs well enough could even keep water out you experience any flooding.
They aren't necessary. Most storage bins like these that people buy don't have them. However, the only real downside to getting a bin with a gasket that seals better is the higher cost.
