I like the acrylic glue sticks you can get for these, they pretty much bond anything the cheap sticks can't manage like metals and concrete/stone, and vinyl/leather.

Agree. Being cordless this gets used more than any other glue gun I have ever owned. And yes - the included sticks are fantastic. May have to by more ryobi branded sticks - unless someone can tell me what makes these special and a cheaper option.

To be clear, are you saying the ryobi branded sticks are the ones that work well? I've only ever used those ones

Is it possible to return the battery and get it cheaper? I don't need another battery.

The deal here is if you 'hack' it and return the battery - makes the tool $24.14 plus tax.

I have this. Does a good job, but mine seems to leak hot glue out the nozzle when I put it aside mid craft until I'm ready to use again. It could just be user error, though.

INSANELY overpriced. These were $30 when first came out 5 years ago (bare tool). Now they want $150 with a $30 battery as normal price? The $60 "sale" is barely a deal. You used to be able to get a Drill, Impact Driver, 2 batteries and a charger for $60 on special sales. I know I know, inflation, but more like greed-flation here.

I'm assuming this would be for larger crafts - as for detail work I'm guessing this would be a bit big?
