I don't know why you want a TV over a monitor, but monitors are just plain better. TVs might not be able to properly display 4:4:4 for reading text. They also have higher input lag. At this size is where panel manufacturers off put thier remains. The only difference between a computer monitor and a TV is the over the air transmissions. You could totally add a TV tuner later if that's what you want. Odds are they will be more up to date atsc 3.0 than in most TVs. You are probably streaming though, and a $20 onn box will do everything you need. Monitors often have none to bad speakers, but most TVs do too. Get a sound bar/headphones.

Might want to check out Samsung - 32" Class F6000F.
Open-box Excellent for $50, goes in and out of stock.
I got one and it's decent,looked brand new. I also get an extra bag, so have 2 remotes and 2 different tv legs.
Guessing employee accidentally put 2 inside.

Years ago I bought insignia 22" 1080p version for similar price. Used it mainly for external computer monitor. USB port would power fire stick. Eventually upgraded to a Samsung smart monitor
