This dual control heated blanket stands out for warming the bed quickly and taking the edge off cold feet, with the timer and separate controls adding useful convenience. The queen size is the deal sweet spot, and sizing up can help it drape more like the photos and avoid coverage disputes. It also works well for sofa use or layered under a regular blanket. The main caution is heat level, since even the lowest setting can feel very warm for sleep and may leave the bed sweaty by morning.

  • The blanket can pre-warm the bed before getting in, which helps make cold feet feel comfortable.

  • The timer feature can support turning the heat off automatically, which reduces the chance of forgetting.

  • The heated blanket can be used on a sofa for extra warmth beyond just the bed.

  • The promo code behavior worked for queen size but not king size, so choosing queen can unlock the deal.

  • Even the lowest setting around 86°F may feel too warm for sleep and can lead to sweating.

  • The blanket can be very warm yet still cause waking up sweaty, creating a comfort tradeoff.

  • Using extension cords can add electrical resistance and heat at connections, so plugging directly into an outlet is safer.

  • The blanket may require sizing up by a size or two to match the coverage shown and avoid fighting over territory.

Read the reviews first. Sort by most recent. Thank you for posting but the reviews made me change my mind.

I have an PTAC that uses gas. My energy bill has gone up quite a bit. Would a heated blanket be a better cost savings alternative?

Best price I've seen on a true blanket sized one in a long time. I love using mine to warm the bed before I get in. My feet are always cold and this makes such a huge difference
Read the one star reviews. I was in for one until I read them. There are too many for me to dive in.

But even at the lowest heat setting, 86 degrees... I believe optimal sleep temp is between 60-67. Just seems like it'd make me sweat like crazy.
Optimal air temp is 60-67, yes. I keep at 60, gets to 55 by the morning. But I hate getting into the bed at that temp, so the blanket will pre-warm the bed to 80, then turn off. The problem with the one I have there is no times so sometimes I forget to turn it off. This one with the timer is perfect. So that is where heated blanket works best.

I use layers: flat sheet, heated blanket, regular Ikea blanket - works best for me.

I can't sleep if it's too cold. Must have heat set to 67-73 in the winter.

As with a lot of wintry items: you'll start seeing boots, jackets, etc go on sale soon too. It's my fav time to pick those things up and have 'em ready come October.
