Quest 4 isn't inevitable at all. It's apparently being worked on, but who knows what it will offer/cost if or when it actually releases. Meta has lost countless billions on VR and shut down most of their gaming studios. I own about 20 VR games across PS5 and PC and will probably buy another PSVR 2 unit if they go on closeout just so I have an extra if my controllers or headset dies.

A paperweight... that I've had some of my favorite gaming experiences of this generation on and still use fairly regularly.

Very tempting. Nearly bite when it was 270 at best buy including the horizon bundle. But I know how this story usual plays out. Just like my quest3 I'll play it for a week then never pick it up again. I know there are some must tries like re village, Re4, and gt7 but is that enough content for me to keep coming back to use the headset?
Also it being wired isn't the most convenient. Maybe I'll wait for the inevtable quest4 which should give us microoled lenses.

Currently $220 Excellent condition. Not the slickest as you said, but the product is already getting close to end of life... I wouldn't wait for it to get cheaper if someone really wants one.

I'm just hoping they'll also release their VR titles on PC.

I wish I had more time to spend in my VR racing, just 1 title, over and over and over and over again 😊

Some people are so miserable they can't even find joy in VR

Any reason to play this on pc over meta 3?

Main advantage is the oled screens, with way better colors and blacks (kinda of counts in some games).Faster response time.

Biggest drawback is the lenses, not as sharp. (And possibly mura)

Possible advantages : eye tracking, now implemented in the driver (unofficially I think) but do games take advantage of it? And maybe on the future implementation of haptic feedbacks (especially for the triggers).

Some people prefer the psvr2. Picking one or the other is going to bring compromises

Finally got around playing and finishing RE4. The whole game is amazing but some scene have just been so enhanced by VR. Playing these games with a regular controller is such bore now. Spent the last few weeks exclusively on my VR library and enjoyed it a lot. 😍Best time to be a gamer.

Thanks for this. Mentally I was going through the same thing but seeing someone else say it out loud normalized it LOL

I want to like VR, but it hates me. Few things IRL make my head pound and make me want to puke my guys out like VR.... a close second was being on small boats in very bad weather.
