I bought this from the last time it was posted as a deal. I've never played MechaBreak and i have no intention of doing so, but the aesthetic is cool enough despite having no attachment to the branding whatsoever. The switches feel really nice for WASD play and typing, but the keycaps are translucent with no backing behind the characters, so when the key is illuminated, you cannot see the character because there's just a big lit-up "+" behind it. The software allows for different lighting effects but i just want the keys to be lit-up all the time so i can see them in the dark. I remedied this by swapping out all of the default keys for some Hyper-X pudding caps (but man a full board swap takes forever). I like 8BitDo and this stacks up to the quality and performance i'd expect from them.

Yeah this particular color scheme is much cheaper than others of the same model.
Not just for the general appearrance but it also blocks most of the backlighting on the keys.

thats what ive figured. I wanted to cop it at the first release since I loved Panther from the game, but the backlighting complaint made me hold off. been looking for a new keyboard to upgrade from, so this is just one of many options for me personally
