Bonded leather = I hope you enjoy pulling tiny black pieces of fabric out of your butt-crack after a year.

Never buy bonded leather, it starts flaking off in year 2, it's a mess. I had to peel all of it off to leave myself with an extremely ugly un-upholstered chair. It's actually super comfortable to sit in, but a fabric or mesh chair will last much longer.

The only reason they still make bonded leather is because people who haven't bought one before think it has a premium look and feel to it compared to mesh and fabric, which is true but it doesn't last very long.

Bonded trucks, can get into Bonded warehouses. All we gotta do, is look for a truck...with a letter B on it.

I've had this chair for over 4 years without any leather flaking off. The trick is to use leather Conditioner every 1-2 months to keep the leather from drying out.

Whomever came up with bonded leather should be shot. Vinyl from the 80s and 90s held up so much better. The ultimate example of built-in obsolescence. Right up there with most appliances.

After receiving a tip from a Staples employee, I always recommend the extended warranty with a chair like this. If the process is the same as it was for me a couple years ago, set yourself a 1-year reminder to make a claim against ANY imperfection (pet scratched it, etc.). They'll ask for a couple photos of the chair and send you a Staples gift card for your purchase price. Something this big, they won't even bother asking for you to return it.
