If you really want the 6E pro (and from what I've read, you should either get the 6 pro or 7 series instead), you'd be better off getting them used on eBay.

Yeah. I went with the 6 Pro since I can't use a wired backhaul. Got a 3 pack for like $140 about 2 years ago and have been mostly happy with them. Just the lack of customizations is frustrating at times. But, the speeds and coverage are great.

Is it safe to get used from eBay?

You may get ISP or home builder branded models. I've got a 6 pro that's home builder branded, but it doesn't affect performance, you'll just see the company logo in the Eero app. As far as if it's safe or not, just make sure it's a seller with legitimate reviews and you should be ok. I've bought 2 generations of Eero from eBay now and they've all worked perfectly
