Edit: now it's a deal since they price matched AND you can use BB rewards on it!

This is from Newegg through Best Buy. The better deal is the one you posted straight from Newegg at 650

Retro indeed, would be slick if it included extra vacuum tubes. But yeah, newegg direct deal has duster and game included, so this deal is worse unless you're trying to dump BBY GCs or something. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Co...bo.4853654

This may seem a little spammy since I asked in the NewEgg thread too, so forgive me, folks, but what motherboard manufacturers would folks currently suggest?

I remember reading that AsRock was having issues. Who is good to shop with for AM5 right now?

Not the worst deal in the world considering RAM prices, but you're still going to need a motherboard and a cooler, case + PSU and a GPU...

Isn't the Micro Center deal better since you get a motherboard for $50 more?

Yes, but not everyone lives near a Micro Center. Their AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, ASUS B650E-E TUF Gaming WiFi AM5, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit combo is the GOAT when it comes to gaming value for $599.

An advantage of Newegg, however, is that you can upgrade your existing AM5 proc and get trade in value. The Ryzen 7600, for example, has a $110 trade in value. Not bad for an older proc.

If you have a tradable item, and want to get REALLY crazy with it, you can buy the Ryzen 9700x @ $199 (includes the AIO cooler) using your trade in peoc, and then turn around and trade in the 9700x for $145 toward the package deal. Sales tax (and hassle) is a killer for most, BUT, it would give you an AIO cooler for a lower price than an air cooled unit that you'll need for the 9850x.

I'm currently looking at Gigabyte's line-up (Zeroing in on one of the X870E Boards) but I would not be concerned about MSI, ASUS, or Asrock if the right deal materializes.
