I think there's slightly lower demand for this specific part than others, like the 7700x is a better gaming CPU because it's a single CCD. The 7600x3D is an even better gaming CPU if you can get to microcenter.
Usually people who are productivity focused (which is what this is kind of more geared towards) would go with intel.
