If you're considering getting back in to Marvel vs Capcom 2 competitively then Steam has by far the most active players (and free online play). If you're a casual player or collector though this is a very good deal.

Yeah, but isn't anyone playing this online these days is going to obliterate me or any other casual player? I mean, if you are THAT into 2D fighter, you are pretty hard core, in a good and bad way.
