I bought this same saw a couple of weeks ago from a different vender for only $3.99. It is one of those items that are made at one factory, and several different vendors sell it as their own. Before I modified the saw it was COMPLETE CRAP and was headed for the garbage can until I decided to try and fix it.

The teeth of the blade protrude from the sides and scrape the surface when laid flat. The handle became sloppy loose after only a couple of pulls. I had to file the sides of the saw smooth and hammer the handle rivets tight. After modifying the saw it works pretty good, and is a Slickdeal for only $4

If you need to file down the sides of the teeth, it is not a flush cut saw.

There is no 10% coupon, what you are referring to requires the purchase of another saw.

Agree. It's not junk but not a great saw compared to ones I purchased that are $70. For $11 it's not a bad backup or extra saw you can throw in your work bag

Although that saw says flush cut saw, that saw is not the correct saw for cutting off dowels. These saw blades extend (the set) on both sides. So they will scratch your work. What you want is a real flush cut saw. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DD7M63BY

This absolutely is a real flush cut saw; it has all the properties of a flush cut saw except it is just poorly made. Once the sides of the teeth are filed down it works just fine and does not scratch your work.
If you need to file down the sides of the teeth, it is not a flush cut saw.

Absolute CRAP.

1st of all it is NOT a flush cut saw.
.
2nd it is NOT a "Japanese hand saw," it's a chinese hand saw (china doesn't deserve upper case).
