I have what appears to be the same as these and the issue has never come up. Never thought about it until reading your comment. The magnets aren't all that strong. Just strong enough to hold them together.

Had these for a while in a different brand. Only downside was the writing on them faded and you couldn't tell what anything was anymore.

Seems like they would be "sticking" to other metal utensils unless they were somehow mounted separately. I would think this would be annoying.

I bought a similar set and found that the little magnets sometimes fall off after a few rounds in the dishwasher. I don't want something like that to potentially fall into food I'm preparing.
Easy to work around, but another issue is if your dishwasher has a utensils caddy instead of tray, you need to make sure to separate these spoons or they might spoon with each other and not get cleaned.

Have these, but they are the "Spring Chef" version in multicolor (for easy identification). No issues at all. Magnets click securely, but not overly strong where you can't separate them. Magnets are inside the colored grip.

Had mine for over two years now and they still look brand new. I hand wash only.
