My general recommendation for expensive open box items is to do store pickup if possible. Ask them if you can see the item and look it over before they sign it out to you and usually at customer service they'll allow it. Then if you notice any issues or change your mind you can just cancel the order.
Just last night I couldn't get a simple security patch to update and got stuck in a reboot loop. I didn't expect to have these types of issues with a newer Dell that I'm only running basic things like browser and office on.

1) Clean install of Windows 11 25H2 (download the ISO from Microsoft and use Rufus to make the bootable flash drive because it lets you disable options like Bitlocker, requiring Microsoft account, etc.)
2) Let Windows Update install all the drivers. Whatever isn't the latest version, download directly from Dell. Chances are the BIOS will need an upgrade.
I didn't know about ChrisTitus, but that looks pretty cool. My only concern would be that Microsoft would just enable it all with a future monthly update.
For shipping on Open Box - Excellent and for pickup on all conditions at available store.
