Logitech recently had the G29 for $200 with the shifter for free but it was showing even lower in the cart and someone found that adding another item would bring it down even further. I got the G29, shifter and a USB cable for $165 + tax. https://slickdeals.net/f/19202200
That deal is dead now but if we're talking about how good this deal is, it definitely goes lower, with and without the shifter. Even Slickdeals' price history on this page shows it lower last November.

Logitech's G29 wheel and responsive pedals are being treated as a strong entry point into sim racing, especially for anyone wanting to try real racing on PS5, PS4, PC, or Mac. The $179.99 coupon price is described as the lowest or near lowest seen for new, with past bundles sometimes dropping lower when the shifter was added or extra coupons were applied. The wheel is also noted as a solid learning setup for kids and a fun match for games like Assetto Corsa. The main caveat is that the coupon and bundle pricing can be finicky, and better systems exist if you want to spend more.

  • The deal price is reported as an all-time low for a new G29 at about $180.

    elatomu12ReaksOP

  • The G29 is described as a good entry option for learning real racing, including use for a kid learning on it.

    JonBthatsMeErlarson85

  • The coupon math can bring the total down further, including an example checkout total of $221.77 with tax.

    VEDOD

  • The wheel is reported to work on Switch 2 using a ReaSnow S1 USB hub, and it can run Need for Speed and Mario Kart World.

    owl

  • The discounted price may not appear unless the shifter is added and the correct coupon is applied.

    VEDODVEDOD

  • Coupon availability can vary by time or user, with reports of the coupon appearing later after being unavailable.

    ThriftyPayless

  • Assetto Corsa with this wheel is reported as fun but not easy to drive.

    onepotato

  • The Switch setup requires a ReaSnow S1 USB hub that can cost nearly as much as the Logitech wheel itself.

The 923 is what I've been eyeing for a long time, but this might be good for the kid to learn on. I figure lots
Of banging the wheel for the first couple months. This is a good price, $10 less than Staples had it this weekend.

This needs more thumbs up, why are people downvoting this. I missed that last deal with the shifter because I only found out few hours before the deal closed and they were all showing out of stock (they were inmediately in stock the next morning implying it was only inventory allocated for the deal was all sold out). Definitely going to keep waiting, FH6 won't come out for few months anyway lol.

I had reported it dead 2 days ago but SD never moved it, and now the coupon appears for me today. I guess the deal is good for some and at different times.
