I have both Ryobi and Dewalt. Is the Dewalt XR worth it for double the price?

I have this model and wish it had a bit more power. They have a new model that has a different handle but it was uncomfortable for me to hold compared to this style.

Anyone have any experience on how this compares to the Milwaukee line?

You will likely be able to do with either. If you never owned one before, you will likely not notice the bells and whistles that the dewalt has.

99% of people saying "needs brushless" or similar don't know the difference between brushed vs brushless motors and definitely don't understand when brushless is needed.

There's a reason why this one is cheap and brushless is not, but this one will work for the VAST majority of people. Unless you are using this tool to cut through dense material like hardwood or metals for 20+ min straight consistently, it's gonna be just fine to use a brushed tool.

Most people can't even tell

Thanks. I do appreciate the little things about the Dewalt though like the headlight and better build quality. This would be replacing a wired Black and Decker bought for $25 so either should be an improvement.
