The Sofirn SC13 is a thumb sized rechargeable EDC flashlight that stands out for being very bright, compact, and easy to carry or clip around the house, car, or garage. The USB C charging, magnetic tailcap, and simple three mode controls with memory make it practical for daily use, and the Nichia 519A version is praised for its wide floody beam and better color rendering. It does run hot in use, and the battery life is described as only a few hours in some cases. The welcome price also appears to be finicky at checkout, with the discount sometimes limited to one item or tied to account details.
Common Questions (5)
Yes. It is described as thumb-sized, compact, and easy to grip while still being very bright. The clip and magnetic base make it practical for pockets, hats, and metal surfaces.
No. The welcome deal only applies when you have one item selected in the cart, and adding more than one can cause the discount to fail or be refunded.
Yes. It is very bright, but the body and battery can run hot during use. Runtime is reported as a few hours in typical use, so it suits short tasks more than long continuous high-output runs.
It charges via USB-C, which makes it easy to top up without a separate charger. That convenience is a big reason it works well as a car, garage, or everyday carry light.
It uses simple 3-mode controls with mode memory: press and hold to change brightness, double-press for turbo, and double-press again for strobe. It also has a magnetic tailcap for hands-free placement.

It worked!
Thanks!
Excellent light. It is about the same size as my thumb from tip to base. Small yet powerful and lasts a long time.
I also got the one with the magnetic base so it just sits on one of my table legs. There's also a clip so if I have a hat I can clip it there.
It limited me to purchasing just one light at that price, however. Darn!
