The Sofirn SC13 is a thumb sized rechargeable EDC flashlight that stands out for being very bright, compact, and easy to carry or clip around the house, car, or garage. The USB C charging, magnetic tailcap, and simple three mode controls with memory make it practical for daily use, and the Nichia 519A version is praised for its wide floody beam and better color rendering. It does run hot in use, and the battery life is described as only a few hours in some cases. The welcome price also appears to be finicky at checkout, with the discount sometimes limited to one item or tied to account details.

  • The battery can run hot during use, and runtime may only last a few hours.

    VivaLaPootriversrun

  • The welcome deal can restrict purchases to a single item in the cart at the discounted price.

    Driv3223Cammiethedog

  • Checkout pricing can jump from the advertised welcome deal amount to $16-plus during checkout.

    FantasticCatfish841

  • The welcome deal may fail when using PayPal or Google Wallet, with the discount tied to payment or shipping details.

Those who would trade a little temporary security for monetary savings deserve neither security nor savings?
Those who would pay three times as much for the same thing on Amazon are fools.

Flashaholic here. The SC13, specifically the Nichia 519A version (better color temp and color rendition), is one of my greatest of all time lights. Small, but not too small, so it's easy to grip. Very bright. USB-C rechargeable. Simple 3-mode controls with memory. Nice wide floody beam pattern. Magnetic tailcap. It's the one I use daily for all sorts of tasks.

Does anyone have any experience with this particular light? Any pros▪︎cons?
They're great. Compact and bright. Press and hold the button to change modes, then it remembers the setting. Double press for turbo. Double press again for strobe. Magnetic tail cap. Small gripe I have is the rubber button and rubber charge port are located on opposite sides but feel the same in the dark. If you remove the clip, it also rolls around a lot. A flat side would be better, but not a big deal.

Same, tried paypal/google wallet both cancel/refund. Its probably tracked by payment or shipping address. New customer pricing did work in past at initial 1st purchase.
