Was $700 earlier this month - I'd wait for a better sale.

I paid $1100 for it back when it released 2ish years ago though and love it. That said, my biggest annoyance is that it doesn't have a headphone jack so if gaming on my PS5 on it, I have to use headphones.

I think I must have something odd set on mine because it seems nowhere near as good of image quality as when i tried a 27 inch asus. I know the PPI difference, but it's beyond that. Somehow mine just seems kind of dull, not crisp. I had tried various recommended settings from calibrators too. Not sure what the deal is.

was it a 4K 27"? If so, PPI is a big difference at 166 vs 138. It looks like the subpixel layout is the same though.

yeah, it was 4k. But I mean even beyond that because I have also had 55 inch tvs and they looked much more crisp than this. Maybe this is more matte than others and that is what I am noticing?

the alienware has a glossy screen so not sure. sorry :/ It could have just been a wrong setting as well but idk. Windows scales up content on a 4k screen usually 150% and maybe that had bugged out in the app/program that was running.
