Neither 144 nor 180 is that weird. Standard refresh rates are 24Hz and 30hz. 144 and 180 are multiples of both, respectively (at a 6x multiplier).

What's actually more frustrating is that neither 140 nor 180 divide evenly by both 24 and 30, meaning that 24 or 30FPS content will look suboptimal on one or the other.

The solution to this is to use 120Hz or 240Hz monitors, where 24 and 30 FPS content will be displayed properly.

For gaming, all of the above is a non-issue.

I disagree. 144Hz is the weirdest number. At least 180Hz can lock to an even multiple for content designed to run at 60 (or 30) fps such as most streaming video content or really any content not designed for high refresh rate monitors.

Thanks for the heads up! What made it rough? I'm trying to avoid the pitfalls of cheaper OLEDs..

Buyer Beware;
1) Not height adjustable.
2) Doesn't properly support HDR (DP 1.2 instead of DP 1.4)
3) Doesn't support 180Hz at 10 bit color (see above)
This is bargain basement OLED. And low-end Samsung is never good in my experience.
