I have the quarter zip version of this and absolutely love it for chilly runs. With a simple thin layer underneath it, I've taken this down to about 26 degrees and still been very comfortable as long as I have my head/ears covered up. I have plenty of other jackets/pullovers to use around town so I wouldn't even think to use this as anything other than exercise equipment, but the people in these comments pooh-poohing the polyester content are basically just telling on themselves for being sedentary because this sort of material makeup is exactly what you want if you're going to be sweating. There's a reason that 100% of real quality workout related clothing has poly in it.

You think any athlete exercises in 100% cotton clothing? Are you out of your minds?

Its fleece, what do you expect? Patagonia, north Face, all the major brands fleece is poly.

non-members can also get free shipping but must pay a 5% non-members fee which was $1.35. Looks like they calculated the 5% before the $8 discount. Total for me (as a non-member) was $20.34

I do like my Merrell shoes but... yeah, they are a shoe company. Also it's polyester.

This deal led me to find something else on Costco which looked way better. And it's $2 cheaper in the warehouse too.

I have a quarter zip that appears to be the same material, it's very thin.

Anyone have one of these? Is it more of an exercise jacket?

I bought every color of the quarter zip version of this. It is grid fleece, which is surpringly warm. I think it is the perfect layer down to low 50's maybe high 40's. Good for excersize because the grid fleece breathes a bit better than regular fleece. The grid are channels for ventilation. Its not as great for windy conditions, regular fleece wins there. But I love the 1/4 zips, I'm going to grab these too... which is probably overkill, but you can buy all three colors for less than 1/2 what one Patagonia or North face of similar quality would cost.

It makes it rain/wind proof. Poly has its uses.

These are hands down my favorite affordable hoodie. Heavy, soft, durable fabric, good stitching, nice hood, nice cuffs. Yeah the interior will pill a bit over time, nothing major. Metal zipper works well but the edges are very squared off and potentially abrasive. I avoid drying the car wearing this hoodie.

If the zipper goes up that higher - it should have a cover, otherwise the plastic will dig in. Saw this issue with the 32deg hoodie and had to return it.
