Target clearance on Switch games is heavily store specific, with some locations turning up deep discounts while others show little or no markdown. The strongest finds include Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition for $17.99, Bravely Default for $19.99, Yakuza 0 for $12, and smaller prices on titles like Super Mario RPG, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and Everybody 1 2 Switch. Some games were hidden in regular locked cases and only showed clearance in the in store scanner, not the app. A few listings also rang up higher than expected or were not actually on clearance, so checking in store matters.

  • Clearance pricing and stock can vary by Target location, so checking multiple stores may uncover lower prices.

  • In-store tablet or computer searches on end caps can reveal clearance prices that do not appear in the app.

  • Some Switch titles have been found at steep clearance prices, including Bravely Default and Xenoblade Chronicles X.

    Spacecase

  • Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition has been reported at $17.99 after a prior return related to a downgrade pack issue.

    GreenMarine

  • Some games may not be marked for clearance in the normal display, and scanning can show that certain titles are not on clearance.

  • Clearance prices can differ even for the same game across nearby Targets, which can make deal hunting inconsistent.

  • New Monopoly on Switch has been described as poorly optimized and not recommended.

  • Clearance inventory can be limited at certain stores, with some locations showing only a small number of copies and minimal discounting.

Thank you. Was able to get some for Easter baskets. Got Karate Kid for $5.99, Everybody 1-2 Switch $8.99. Some others I found not listed: DreamWorks Trolls $9.99, CareBears $11.99, Nick Toons and the Dice of Destiny - $12.49, Uno Legacy ( download) $5.99, Pool Party (download) $2.99. Saw Hogwarts was ringing up $20+, 2 different Hello Kitty games $19.99 +. Also saw Lego Horizons but when she scanned it she said it wasn't on clearance.

Every Target I visited in my area had games on clearance, some much better than others. (Some were easy to find, why others were in random clearance aisle end caps away from the main Switch games aisle)Best deals I found:SwitchStick Out Tongueokemon Scarlet: $17.99Pokemon Violet: $17.99Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu: $17.99Zelda Skyward Sword: $17.99Super Mario RPG: $11.99Sonic X Shadow Generations: $14.99Wildersmyth: $5.99Karate Kid Street Rumble: $5.99PS5Big Grineath Stranding 2: $20.99Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4: $13.79Switch 2Big Grinaemon x Machina Titantic Scion: $20.99NOTE: Some of the games, notably the Pokemon games, weren't marked for clearance and were in the normal Switch display case area (locked up). I found out they were on clearance at the store using the tablet / computer thing on the end caps in the store that let you search for in store products. They had the "sale" (aka clearance) price in the system, but not on the app. So you can check that way once in the store. However only some had them in clearance, seems like it very dependent on the store.
Wish I could find Death stranding 2 game for $20. That's a steal.
